1. Who We Are
AXIAR is an industrial manufacturing exchange that connects buyers who need machining or fabrication capacity with verified manufacturers and machine owners ("Vendors") across the UAE and beyond.
2. Information We Collect
Information you give us
- Contact details such as your name, company name, job title, email address, phone number and WhatsApp number.
- Business details such as trade licence information, emirate or country, industry, machine listings, capacity and pricing.
- Requests for Quotation (RFQs), drawings, specifications, attachments and messages you submit through the Platform.
- Information you share when you contact us, chat with our assistant, subscribe to our newsletter or apply for a job.
- Login details for vendor and admin accounts (passwords are stored only in hashed form).
Information collected automatically
- Device and browser information, IP address and approximate location.
- Pages visited, features used, and the date and time of your visits.
- Cookies and similar technologies needed to keep you signed in and to keep the Platform secure.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To match RFQs with suitable Vendors and to share requirements with the Vendors you are matched with.
- To create and manage accounts, verify Vendors and maintain machine listings.
- To respond to enquiries, provide support and send service messages about your RFQs, quotations or orders.
- To send newsletters and updates, where you have subscribed (you can unsubscribe at any time).
- To improve, secure and troubleshoot the Platform, and to prevent fraud or misuse.
- To meet legal, regulatory, tax and accounting obligations.
4. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only:
- Between buyers and Vendors — when you submit an RFQ, relevant details (such as specifications, drawings, quantities and delivery location) are shared with the Vendors we invite to quote. Buyer contact details are shared only when needed to progress an order.
- With service providers who host, store, email or support the Platform on our behalf, under confidentiality obligations.
- With authorities when required by law, court order or to protect the rights, property or safety of AXIAR, our users or others.
- In a business transfer, such as a merger or acquisition, subject to this policy.
5. Confidentiality of Drawings and RFQs
We understand that technical drawings and specifications are commercially sensitive. RFQ files are only shared with Vendors invited to quote on that RFQ, and Vendors are expected to use them solely for preparing a quotation and fulfilling the order.
6. Data Retention
We keep personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide our services, resolve disputes, enforce our agreements and meet legal requirements. When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it.
7. Data Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections, hashed passwords and restricted admin access. No online service is completely secure, however, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your Rights
Subject to applicable law, including the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021), you may:
- Request access to the personal information we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
- Ask us to delete your information, or to restrict or object to certain processing.
- Withdraw consent to marketing messages at any time.
